How green is your electricity? What is the carbon cost of everything you do? These are questions that Tomorrow is trying to answer and I spoke to its founder Olivier Corradi to find out more.
On this episode recorded on the 15th June 2020, I spoke with Olivier Corradi founder of Tomorrow
Tomorrow builds tech that empowers people and organisations to understand and reduce their carbon footprint. I first heard of Tomorrow through their website (and underlying service) electricitymap, which maps the green-ess of electricity over time and across regions, which we discuss in-depth in this podcast.
Olivier is a French/Danish machine learning engineer. He studied engineering at Ecole Centrale Paris and mathematical statistics at the Technical University of Denmark. He's worked at IBM Research and Google. He previously managed and grow a large 30 person data science and engineering team at French AI startup Snips (acquired by Sonos).
Through our conversation I realised that electricitymap and their other products are just examples of a much broader, bigger and inspiring mission for Tomorrow.
